The Cody Police Department currently has 23 full time and two part time employees. This includes 20 sworn officers and two secretaries as well as one full time and two part time Community Service Officers. Three officers also serve as K-9 Officers and each has a certified Drug Detection Canine. In addition, one officer also serves as the School Resource Officer in cooperation with the Cody School District.
The Department shares building facilities with the Park County Sheriff's Office and Detention Center and is located at 1402 River View Drive.
