Municipal Court
Municipal Court has jurisdiction over all violations of ordinances of the City of Cody and adopted Wyoming State statutes.  Citations written into Municipal Court are written by the Cody Police Department.  The Municipal Court Judge may assess a fine up to, but not exceeding, $750 (plus court costs) for any offense and imprisonment does not exceed six (6) months.  All cases filed in Municipal Court are misdemeanors.

Municipal Court Schedule
  • Held on Tuesdays
    • Initial appearances held every Tuesday at 1:00 pm 
    • First and third Tuesdays of the month Court hearings are held at 10:30 am 
  • Circuit Court Courtroom at the Park County Courthouse, 1002 Sheridan Avenue, in Cody

Judge and Prosecutor
The City of Cody Municipal Court Judge is C. Edward Webster II and the City Prosecutor is Scott Kolpitcke.
